I have spent nearly ten years in IT, moving from the restaurant industry into infrastructure engineering and GIS. That path taught me how businesses actually run day to day, and what technology has to do to keep up.
I work across public cloud, private cloud and on-premise. I am a believer in on-premise when it makes more sense, and I will tell you honestly which fits your situation, rather than defaulting to whatever is fashionable.
